Resume

Zero-to-one engineer. Listen, decide, build, ship, learn. San Francisco, CA.

Experience

  1. Nium

    Jul 2026 to Present

Senior Developer, Digital Assets, San Francisco Bay Area

    • Own the stablecoin card issuance domain end to end. I work with partners such as Circle to turn their requirements into product scope, build it, and align internal teams so it ships.
    • Build AI travel agents that book flights and stays for enterprise customers. They pay through Nium's internal payment modes and enforce each company's travel policy on every booking.
  2. Cypher WalletYC W22

    Jun 2022 to Jul 2026

    Founding Engineer, San Francisco, CA

    • Handled customer queries directly, analyzed usage to find what people actually needed, turned it into requirements, then built, shipped, and monitored it in production.
    • Built the path from web3 wallet to spendable card: deposits in 100+ assets are routed, swapped, and settled into card balances. The card product processed $10M+ in volume.
    • Solved money movement and swap optimization for card loads: routes and execution for every deposit, so funds arrive fast and cheap and stay reconcilable.
    • Owned the entire B2B product (business cards, corporate payouts, payroll), which processed $2M+, from partner discovery through architecture to rollout.
    • Owned every web3 interaction: multi-chain signing, simulation, and broadcasting across EVM, Cosmos, and Solana, plus self-custodial key management.
    • Built the Chrome extension wallet and its injected provider, the layer that connects the wallet to every dApp a user visits.
    • Designed NestJS services for chain communication, transaction indexing, RPC failover, and load balancing.
  3. Xpresslane

    May 2021 to Apr 2022

    Frontend Web Developer, Remote

    • Built React checkout and billing interfaces on Shopify payment flows, and published reusable Storybook component libraries to npm.

Projects

  1. Describe a UI, watch it build live.

    • TypeSafe Jev decides on every message: new page or edit, which elements are in scope, option values, and change type.
    • Deterministic edits run in code with no LLM call. Scoped edits only see the elements in scope, and code rejects anything outside it.
    • New pages are planned as streamed JSON; each section is built by its own LLM call, 4 at a time, and patches stream into a live preview.
    • Production hardening: model fallback chain, per-visitor rate limits, request validation, sanitized AI-written links.
  2. CCTP Bridge

    cctp.rishikhesh.com

Native USDC across Stellar and EVM chains.

    • Wallet connections for each ecosystem, built with viem and the Stellar SDK.
    • Fast and standard transfer modes with live Iris fee quotes.
    • Every transfer is tracked through approve, burn, attestation, and mint.
  3. Realtime expense splitting for groups and trips.

    • Balances are materialized snapshots. An invariant check re-derives every snapshot from the raw ledger, so a mutation that forgets to update balances fails in tests.
    • End-to-end type safety: client types are derived from server return contracts, with no unchecked casts.
  4. Money ledger

    private, in use

Physical cash, counted note by note, across routes.

    • Every entry is a count of notes per denomination, ₹500 down to ₹1. Balances are derived from the counts, never typed in.
    • Vouchers are verified against counted cash, and any excess or shortage is recorded instead of smoothed over.
    • Firestore security rules check server-side that the denomination counts add up to the amount, so a bad write is rejected.
    • Separate admin and operator roles. Installable and works offline.
